suddenly felt like blogging so here i am!

first things first,

Happy birthday Yujun! (:

today was quite a good day.
went for training in the morning and did dryland before getting into the pool
it's been AGES since i last had dryland trng and i can foresee tmr being a sore and achy day.
the swim set was okay though cause we missed the main set so it was mainly kicking.
which we seem to be doing alot of recently.
and which i absolutely hate cause i can't seem to move even though i'm kicking so hard my legs are about to drop off.
and it doesn't help that the RI pool doesn't have wavebreakers so the waves are ginormous.
oh well.

gave afternoon trng a miss cause we went to surprise the birthday boy at his house!
was supposed to meet the other 3H people at sengkang MRT at 2pm.
but when i reached, grace yy and jason were still getting yujun's present so i went to join them, and they managed to trick me with the fake bread! grrr. haha.
the shop assistant must have been really amused.
I was standing there wondering why action city started selling bread and staring at all the nicely packaged buns for a really long time not noticing that they were fake!
ahahaha.
but then of course we hatched our wonderful prank for the birthday boy. hehehe.

after getting yujun's present we made our way to his house.
youkai managed to lure yujun out by asking him whether he could come over to borrow some econs notes (when he was alr standing outside his door) and then when yujun answered the door, told him that he had cake for him which he left at the lift lobby.
(i can't believe yujun fell for tt! ahaha)
so anw, the rest of us were hiding behind some wall at the gross rubbish chute area and when the both of them walked past we jumped out and started singing happy birthday!
and yujun was a funny sight but i shan't embarass him by elaborating further.

after we were all comfortably seated in yujun's living room we told him we didn't manage to get any cake and only had bread for him.
and we said that of course he had to eat it right away since it was his "birthday bread".
and so yujun, who i'm assuming was quite overwhelmed by the surprise (and who wasn't wearing his specs), agreed and started unwrapping the bread.
after a brief tussle with the plastic packaging (during which we were all super scared he would find out the bread was fake) he finally took the first bite!
which was the golden moment of course! ahahahaha!!
i think xl and grace have some pictures.
luckily he discovered it was fake before actually biting a whole chunk off so there was only a slight toothmark on the bread.
(which is supposed to be like a stressball)

and after that we presented him with his real cake (:

sat around looking through yujun's baby photos after that and heard interesting stories about his kindergarten love life. haha!
we wanted to watch kungfu panda but there were no suitable movie timings ):
so we made our way down to compass point to pass time.

that was about it!
feeling rather sleepy now and there's 4 hours of econs tuition tmr ): ):
